Pool full ,chemistry good, waiting on Health Department approval water cold.
Leak fixed. Pool filled with water. Working getting the pool chemistry correct. Health Department will be out on Friday 5/28/10 for our inspection before we will be allowed to open.

We think Carolina Pool discovered our leak. When they installed our new V G compliant drain covers they drilled new holes and failed to epoxy the old holes. Keep your fingers crossed that was it. We pressure tested the lines and they showed no leak so they feel pretty confident it was the drains. Will advise if all is well. Hope to start refilling the pool in the morning.

We have discovered a leak in what we think is in the main drain of the pool, Carolina Pool of Sanford will be here on Monday to try to locate and repair it. Not what we wanted to find today, we are working as hard as we can to have it opened by Friday next week.

I know this does not have anything to do with the campground but, I was roaming around the mountains west of Lenoir N.C. on old hwy 90.
I came across Collettville NC, on the John's River you never know what you may run into in the mountain in North Carolina

We are doing some major repairs to our pool this spring. The local inspectors require two drains in the bottom of the pool this year, which required us to remove a large section around the old drain and install two drains. We are removing all the old paint and it will be getting a fresh coat of paint, hope to be complete by Memorial Day weekend.

Over the weekend The Feich Family from Hope Mills, North Carolina enjoying a day of fishing at Lazy Acres, they must have caught at lest 3 or 4 each, all were returned so some one else could enjoy the sport of fishing thanks kids.

Another Happy Camper at Lazy Acres
Check out the latest catch at Lazy Acres, Bradley from Stoneville, North Carolina over the weekend. Bradley practices catch and release so other people can enjoy the sport of fishing. Lazy Acres thanks you Bradley for taking the time to think of others.

We will be back in court this summer to have the final issues resolved in the dispute over Lazy Acres St. Hopefully it will be over soon so we can make the needed improve our existing road.

Spring is here and the flowers and leaves are starting to come out. We just put 200 more small channel catfish in the pond and there have been some large Brim already caught this spring.
